We’re a family-owned business based in Haliburton County, Ontario living our small-town dream, creating handcrafted wood pieces made to be used, enjoyed, and kept for years to come.

At the heart of it all is George. He’s been working with wood for more than 40 years, and it’s something he genuinely enjoys. For him, there is no greater reward than taking a piece of wood, figuring out what it is meant to become, and seeing it through from start to finish. He pays attention to the little things, takes his time, and takes a lot of pride in knowing that each piece was made by hand. (Truly, come check us out at a market and he will tell you all about his process!)

And his partner in life and business, Joann, is right there alongside him (rolling her eyes). She’s a second set of hands when they’re needed in the shop, a sounding board when George has an idea, and most importantly, the one making sure things keep moving when there’s more to do than just woodworking. 

Then there’s Alyssa (me, hi!), the tech daughter. While she’s not usually the one covered in sawdust, she’s behind the website, the tech, and all the digital things that keep the business running online. Every family business needs someone who knows how to fix the computer stuff!

From the shop, the website, markets and beyond, we take our time with what we do and believe it's the little things that matter.
