Edge Grain Walnut with Maple Accent Strips

Our solid Walnut board with its dark colour enhanced with the mineral oil and bees wax applied has a very rich looking appearance and even though the maple accent strips are only a 1/8” wide they really make a bold statement. Also picture in the fifth to eighth pictures are the same board only with a mixture of heart and sap wood, high lighting the shades of the sap wood as well. I believe you would really enjoy this cutting board whether you were using it as a cutting board or just to display on your counter.
Size of these boards are 15" x 10" x 1 1/4"
                                                         CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
With this being a natural product there will be some maintenance. Depending on how much you use the board, it will let you know when it needs to be re conditioned. Proper maintenance of the board will keep it looking good and increase its life span and enjoyment from it.
1-    After use, clean with soap and luke warm water, pat dry and stand up on edge and allow to dry.
2-    After using it for some time you will start to notice the colours to start to appear dull, clean as stated above and let dry and re coat with the conditioner sent with your board. Apply with a soft clean cloth, let sit for a few hours or overnight and wipe off excess oil with a clean soft rag, this should bring your board back to the way it was when it first arrived. 
3-    I will also send a tin of conditioner and a sheet with your board repeating these instructions.
