Walnut With Cherry & Maple Accent Strips
Our walnut cutting board with Cherry & Maple Accent Strips is a beautiful and functional kitchen piece. The rich, dark colour of the walnut pairs wonderfully with the light, creamy tones of maple. The staggered accent strips give the board a unique, visually interesting pattern, which can add an elegant touch to your kitchen.
The combination of walnut, cherry and maple provides both durability and a nice contrast in terms of color and grain. These cutting boards are handcrafted, with the different woods joined together using precise woodwork techniques such as edge-gluing. All of our cutting boards are sealed with food grade mineral oil and two coats of bee’s wax, we will also send a complementary can of our conditioner to get you started.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
With this being a natural product there will be some maintenance. Depending on how much you use the board, it will let you know when it needs to be re conditioned. Proper maintenance of the board will keep it looking good and increase its life span and enjoyment from it.
1- After use, clean with soap and luke warm water, pat dry and stand up on edge and allow to dry.
2- After using it for some time you will start to notice the colours to start to appear dull, clean as stated above and let dry and re coat with the conditioner sent with your board. Apply with a soft clean cloth, let sit for a few hours or overnight and wipe off excess oil with a clean soft rag, this should bring your board back to the way it was when it first arrived.
3- I will also send a tin of conditioner and a sheet with your board repeating these instructions.
